A Sigma You Should Know: Brother Tom Wilson
| April 5, 2011 | Filled under Great Lakes Region, Headlines, Illinois, News |
We all grew up playing Monopoly, Chutes & Ladders, Sorry and Life. As we got “smarter” we played Trivial Pursuit or even Jeopardy. Looking back how many games featured people of color? Bro. Tom Wilson jr and his family have attempted to make sure that Black History is not taught and featured only in the month of February . Tom Wilson like many others saw that Sigma was the best choice and made the decision to become a member of Phi Beta Sigma his junior year at Southern Ill. Univ. Edwardsville Epsilon Pi Chapter. March 13th, 1992. The good thing is the story doesn’t end at that day, but Bro. Wilson and his family are attempting to make a difference through games. I had the pleasure of talking with Bro. Wilson learning about the family business and his views on Sigma.
